Our Mission, Vision and Purpose

Mission:
The Family Enrichment Through Community and Hope, Inc. (F.E.T.C.H.), empowers low-income, under-served, at-risk youth and families living in the South Miami-Dade County area by providing them with academic enhancement, Information Technology based skills, job training and life-style improvement options. F.E.T.C.H. program participants develop positive self-esteem, marketable skills, access to resources necessary for success and hope for a better future.

Vision:
The Family Enrichment Through Community and Hope, Inc. (F.E.T.C.H.) will be a major resource center in the local communities South Miami-Dade County. We see a world where:
•    unemployment is eradicated
•    astronomical school drop-out rate is a thing of the past
•    family dysfunctionality and hopelessness are spoken of as the way things used to be… before there was a F.E.T.C.H. Program

As a result of our efforts we envision a future full of improved prospects for the lives of all people living in under-served communities.

Purpose:
We strive to provide services which uplift all children and families regardless of their skin-color, ethnic or demographic grouping, sexual orientation, religious affiliation, gender, abilities or disabilities. We believe it is imperative for us to stay connected to local communities and become increasingly aware of their individual needs, concerns and sensitivities. We know that it is this information and experience garnered from our intimate contact with the communities we serve, which guides us in our ongoing efforts to develop, conduct or coordinate programs and services aimed at meeting the needs of our target population.
